kabira Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 :--D:--D:--D Their next two opponents are Bangladesh----it has two left arm spinners........Sakib and Razzaq Windies----Benn and Nikita Miller Seeing how he fared against the worst of the lot (Peterson), he seem to have chickened out :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha:
Gunner_Mania Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Like I said in the other thread, England wanted an Irish rather than a South African.
Gunner_Mania Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Winners are preferred rather than chokers. Dont you agree ?/ ;)
BERGKAMP Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 There's something not right about him leaving like this. Andy Flower was interviewed on sky this morning and he seemed a bit miffed that KP had decided to return home. KP also seems in a great mood on twitter and has been cracking jokes and seems generally upbeat. He has made a point of mentioning on twitter a few times that he is devastated to be leaving and missing the rest of the WC and IPL but I think it is the opposite. I reckon he has had cricket overload with the Ashes and ENG AUS 7 ODI series and wants a break and return home to soend time with his family and son. In the back of his mind I think he also knows England aren't going to go far in the tournament and it would look good on him that KP left and England crumbled. Everyone knows he is all about himself, and not much of a team man, so he has faked this injury to get away from it all.
Cricketics Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I can so see his career going like Neil Johson's
Anakin Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Chickening out is reserved for you know who, so no KP did not chicken out. There just is not enough pressure in WC nowadays.
ganeshran Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 He is also missing the IPL and a significant amount of money. So I dont think he is chickening out of the WC
kabira Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 Probably he was told that he will be dropped if he does not perform. The kind of egoistic person he is, he decided to pack his bag and go home.
