Moncy Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 There are only 3 teams that are actually WC favourites: Australia, SA and Sri Lanka. Look at India's current net-run rate after beating 2 minnows... not impressive, given that they have a strong batting line-up, well at least on paper.
Debutant Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 This moron runs 3 miles thumping his chest and licking the SA batch even if he gets a tailender out.

Actually I was surprised that Pakistan managed to defeat Sri Lanka, given that their bowling line-up/fielding are not that great O.O But they tend to come back a lot stronger after their first loss in WC. I think that they only need to strengthen their middle order. The rest is good whereas India sucks in almost all departments.

If the opposition handles Malinga well then they are ok Murali has not taken wickets so far against Pakistan he was not looking as if he is going to take wickets
Moncy Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 If the opposition handles Malinga well then they are ok Murali has not taken wickets so far against Pakistan he was not looking as if he is going to take wickets Sri Lanka didn't play a match for a while until now. We will observe their performance against Zim today. If Murali's back in form, then it's a bad news for everyone. He's a legend! Australia seriously needs to improve their batting ability against spin attack if they want to win their 5th WC :nervous:
kabira Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Australia were lucky other day, that it rained out. They surely would have lost that game
sudheer kumar Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Imran Tahir injured Imran Tahir.......... one of the most wicket takers in this world cup was injured before an important match against India. And he has been advised ten days rest. So who are going to get benefit? South Africa or India? Its unpredictable and I think both were benefited under different circumstances. Lets hope India to win the match against SA

I'm really impressed with the way Captain Sangakarra is playing.....excellent captaincy, batting, wicket-keeping is really inspiring a Sri Lankan team which isn't as good as previous Sri Lankan Teams ! But his leading from the front is really motivating the Sri Lankan Team to play above themselves ! Really, THE TEAM to watch out for, in my opinion !
Sid Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Another Paki running away from playing against India :headshake:
