If I'm an Eng (Swan) fan I would fear a Baby Lara assault against Swan on a flat Indian wicket. But I'm naturally a batting lover.. so looking forward to this match. :winky: ENG, Paks and, to a certain extend, Indian (:--D) commentators are not biased (only from a SL's perspective). But overall Eng commentators are the best in this aspect. Just that they normally don't like Aussies and.. maybe Indians. :icflove: Baby Lara will take the Poms to cleaners. I like to believe, Lara had a great record against the Poms, so will the Baby :two_thumbs_up: Leh we go, Baby!!! :cheer: PS: Chennai track will be conducive to spin. The sun is pelting down in that part of the world (:beee:) n the pitch is bound to break down :hmmm:

So true. Even the English press was ga-ga over the Ashes win, but they aren't even covering the WC like they did during the Ashes. Just goes to show how much this WC means to England, to them the Ashes are the be all and end all of cricket. Even Kevin Pietersen meeked out at the last minute citing hernia and was found partying at some club a few nights later A team like that doesn't deserve to be in the top 4- at least a cricket obsessed nation like ours can get a spot we are thirsting for. The English should go home and sip on their high teas and scones. In that way countries that really want this more than anything else will at least get a well deserved chance at the cup. P.S: IPL team owners must be relieved that none of them bought the 'ASHES heroes' :hysterical: those same 'heroes' suck ass on our pitches.

He cleared bigger SL grounds with some touring sixes against Murali and Herath. And wickets offered a little bit of spin as well. I have never seen a batsman at his age attacked SL spinners in Sri Lanka like that. So the only thing is, in cricket you need some percentage of luck to get things going on that particular day. If he gets going and the boundaries are like 65m, then bye bye England. :D

For one, you already proved my point when you said Ashes > WC. And I didn't say the English press wasn't covering the WC; I said 'they aren't even covering the WC like they did during the Ashes'. That's a fact, and it's in plain sight when you skim over the coverage. There's a huge difference there- talk about a poor post. Ashes>WC Any English and Aussie fan would agree with that. Precisely. The operative words here being 'English' and 'Aussie', and nothing more. The Ashes are very important to the Aussies too, and we all know that. But the Aussies have the same approach to the WC as they have toward the Ashes; the English team/media doesn't seem to be having that. The English press still hasn't gotten over the Ashes hangover to this day. Nothing else to say other than......what? Not that it would matter; you seem to have got your blinkers on judging from your rabid posts elsewhere.
