After 24 years of heartbreak.. ..vs the kangarooos! last time there was a wc win at delhi ,i was not even 10 yrs old! it included heartbreaking losses like two one run defats at chennai(which i watched at chepauk) and brisbane...humiliations in 1999,2003 and insipid defeat in 1996. i would not found another defeat to them very hard to take ... its payback time! haven't felt so high in a long time

Doing it the Aussie Way. After watching yesterday's match, one feeling that came into my mind was the Aussieness with which we played the game. Generally whenever we win an important match, it has a huge contribution from someone. But what we saw yesterday was a clinical mauling. The highest score was 57*, 2 more 50s were there and an odd 30. We were not relying on individuals to wrap up the match,instead the whole team did it. I was also impressed by Yuvi's approach. He just did not react till the match was over. Also, him consoling Raina to calm down, after he had a spat with the Aussies was the stand out moment of the match. Hail the mature Yuvi!!

Raina was running a quick single and he unknowingly came in the way of Haddin who could not collect the throw from Ponting. And Indians ran the over throw. To this the Ausseis started complaining. I think David Hussey it was, who started saying things to Raina and Raina also started walking towards him saying something. It was then, that UV chipped in by calling Raina and explaining something.

This is ridiculous ! SA and England have much better teams than the Aussies..... don't see them behaving like this. So many different countries now playing good cricket ; no one behaves like this...... can't they all get together and boycott or ban the Aussies for a couple of years at least !?! Interestingly I think Aussies were playing the 'India' way - No fielder in the singles, allowing so many easy singles when Gambhir and Kohli were batting. - Fast bowlers generally useless except for one strike bowler. - Only one single big score, rest of batting hardly contributing.
