akshayxyz Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 p.s jiyasaray is best place in delhi for IAS EXAM. :nice: +1 Find a cave in JiyaSarai/BerSarai/KatwariaSarai and do not come out until you achieve your goal.
Sir john Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 +1 Find a cave in JiyaSarai/BerSarai/KatwariaSarai and do not come out until you achieve your goal. you can live anywhere in delhi,DTC buses provide free of cost traveling.
ganeshran Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 It may not be great, but it can't suck!!:P btw 13k is a good rank in aieee, you would have got good college based on that. one of my cousins got 55,000 n another two got 1,25,000 n 2,00,000+, so they always look upto me ...:D You are measuring your logic with percentile in CAT and rank in AIEEE and wonder why everyone says your logic sucks. On a cricket forum, you will not be judged based on the your scores in exams or the number of gold plated certificates you have. You will be judged by the quality of cricket sense you exhibit in your posts, and almost all of the posts you made in the Sachin centuries thread pretty much gave a clear judgement for most ICF'ers

Vaibhav - you are claiming something which is completely devoid of logic and repeating it again and again and again (in that thread) and then you expect people not to make fun of you.
akshayxyz Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 you can live anywhere in delhi' date='DTC buses provide free of cost traveling.[/quote'] True, but I always believe in spending as much time as possible - at the center of the activity - minimize travel time and other expenses. Some emotionally-weak-people might find it tough to live for years in 'confinement' of jiya sarai. But, I guess those people will not make it to IAS anyway. Besides - preparation for IAS/Civil Services is more a test of emotions/character/resilience than aptitude.

Probably I had to assume that. :dontknow: (there was lots of stats compilation n percentage calculation also happening on that thread) Anyways, I believe I was right, But lost the inclination to post there bcoz other members started posting invalid stats n stuff which had no relevance to the topic....

Some emotionally-weak-people might find it tough to live for years in 'confinement' of jiya sarai. But, I guess those people will not make it to IAS anyway. i see many people going to jiyasarai for coaching from 20 to 30 km distance. jiyasarai is for rich peoples. who enjoy whole life.

Please elaborate. IIRC you were the one picking out selective stats of only 10-11 years from the career of a man who has played for over 21 years.

This is not logic - that is just number crunching. Logic is - how you are using them to arrive at the deductions/inferences. As I said elsewhere - logical thinking is not just multiplying/dividing by 100!!!!
akshayxyz Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I am convinced beyond doubt that you really really need to understand what logical thinking is. Though it would be chicken-egg situation at the moment.

Jiyasaray is the place for IAS preparations. However, looking at the living conditions in that area, I am afraid someday humar right activists may force government to close down whole area..
