Sachin's dropped catches.

Can some one post the compilation of the catches Sachin offered to paki fielders yesterday (not the Akmal one). Also, add few of the clips from the normal shots he played in beginning of the innings. I am sure it is easy to attribute the catches that the pitch started behaving differently than what it was early on. The ball was stopping in the later part and it affected the time of impact with the bat. Why pakis could not hold to them is a different matter altogether.

I wouldn't say they were great wicket taking deliveries. He was eyeing that area behind short extra cover. There was a huge gap there. He didn't quiet get to the pitch of the ball. Hafeez ball definitely stopped a bit. It hit the toe end of the bat. It was like his timing went awry after certain point of time. Catch drop is common in Mohali. But that happens mostly under lights due to low elevation of lights. Day time drops... i would put that down to nerves. They were all nervous on the field. Ball was just not sticking. Hey it is pakistan's fielding They drop catches even in pressure free matches. In pressure matches it gets worse. Even Srilanka dropped Morgan 4 times in the quarter finals before he got to his 50.

It was freaking so obvious. He was very tentative. Occasion got even to him. But i daresay he would have been timing better if Viru had not got out that stage.

nah mate..damn nervous he was after couple of lucky escapes! Any spinner bowling full at Sachin and him continuously failing to push it past mid-on/mid-off for a single have nothing to do with the pitch I guess.so tight were his hands, those straight hits barely went past fielders.
