BERGKAMP Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Along with that he is also a fecking awesome player. Period. Theres no doubt about his talent, as much as I despise him he is the most naturally gifted Englishman since Gascoigne.
ganeshran Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Along with that he is also a fecking awesome player. Period. He is very talented but performs to his potential once in 3-4 matches, and even lesser at the international level. Others like Messi perform consistently always
Sachin=GOD Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Galti ho gaya Maaf karde. Dont forget he is the most Unselfish player in the team. As a player I like Rooney very much but he has got to control his temper and these outbursts. It does'nt serve anyone well - neither him nor the club.
Andy Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 He is very talented but performs to his potential once in 3-4 matches' date= and even lesser at the international level. Others like Messi perform consistently always I guess you are a New Comer to the Game.
satyam1729 Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 I guess you are a New Comer to the Game. WC 2010 ?
Sachin=GOD Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 He is very talented but performs to his potential once in 3-4 matches' date= and even lesser at the international level. Others like Messi perform consistently always that stands true only for the first 3-4 months of the 2010-11 season out of his entire career. Other than that he has been one of the most consistent players in the EPL for the last few seasons, especially the last season was awesome for him. Along with that he was the one who created pretty much all the goals for Ronaldo when he was here and also creates a very large number of goals for Berba, so his contribution to ManUtd goes is much beyond just the number of goals he scores.
satyam1729 Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 International Football? WORLD CUP is not international. ? Sorry i saw him in WC . Was very disappointing.

Even with that he was brilliant.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 WORLD CUP is not international. ? Sorry i saw him in WC . Was very disappointing. that was just 4-5 matches in the WC.................and he was the highest scorer in his group in England's qualifying matches for the WC.
Andy Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 WORLD CUP is not international. ? Sorry i saw him in WC . Was very disappointing. This days we dont even consider International Football Alone to Measure the standard of Club Footballers.:cantstop: Players like Messi, CR9,Kaka, Rooney have been Mega Flop in WC. So Either all are over rated or the WC itself is Over rated.
BeautifulGame Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Rooney had one great year last season. Then English media started hyping him as good as Messi and Ronaldo. Now that he had a poor world cup they now started bashing him . Now Wilshere is the flavour of the month already hyping him as the best youngster in world. Just wait for Euros they will turn him into villian too.
satyam1729 Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 ^Another one who started watching Football Last year. So you rate Murali Vijay highly because of IPL performance.

Also ronaldo is not a WC flop.He had an great 2006 world cup.Him and Figo are only reason they reached semi
BERGKAMP Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Anyway Rooney is heading for total destruction by the time he is around 30. His anger issues, drinking and smoking every weekend as well as all his other misdemeanors will cut short his career by a good 5 or 6 years. Similar to George Best in many ways, a flawed genius.
BeautifulGame Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 ^Another one who started watching Football Last year. Really so how many years have Rooney scored 30 goals a season in the league?
Andy Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 So you rate Murali Vijay highly because of IPL performance. Domestic Cricket and Domestic Football is not same this days. Domestic cricket like IPL is played once in a Year, compare that to International football which is played Once in Two years or 4 Years. International Cricket is played Regularly, so is Club Football. This days players consider Winning a Treble for Man United > Winning a WC for England that comes once in 4 years. Plus Players have additional pressure from the Clubs which the Cricketers do not have from Franchises [ To make sure they do not lose out players for the rest of the season].
Sachin=GOD Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Rooney had one great year last season. Then English media started hyping him as good as Messi and Ronaldo. Now that he had a poor world cup they now started bashing him . Now Wilshere is the flavour of the month already hyping him as the best youngster in world. Just wait for Euros they will turn him into villian too. Oh yeah - just one good season: 2004/05 - 17 goals 2005/06 - 19 goals 2006/07 - 23 goals 2007/08 - 18 goals (even though he missed 10 matches due to injury) 2008/09 - 20 goals (even thogh he missed a few matches due to injury) 2009/10 - 34 goals :hatsoff::hatsoff: A large part of all this was when Ronaldo was scoring many many goals for ManUtd, Rooney still managed to score so many goals.
Andy Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Really so how many years have Rooney scored 30 goals a season in the league? So for you Scoring goals is the only way to Judge a Player? It is for players who play day in and Day out as Striker, Not for Players like Rooney who play mostly behind the Striker, sometimes in the Left Mid Field. You should watch the game more before passing on your Judgements on Footballers.
