Dhruv200 Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Misbah was trying to break sunny paa ji' date='s long standing record pity he lost his concentration and hit couple of boundaries.[/quote'] It was Misbah who choked in t20 final and India won the cup and it was Misbah who was making runs slowly in semi final and india won it do i need to say whose batting was worse .
akshayxyz Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 The ball at which Saed Ajmal appealed for LBW was 64th (legal) delivery of the match. And 10th of Saed's spell. no panga with 10dulkar.
akshayxyz Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Not just us almost all the commentators were left baffled by the call but to me we have to trust the DRS and move on. Friend, people were baffled to see how close it was. Not because everyone was dead sure that it was LBW. It could have gone either way.
akshayxyz Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 If I remember correctly there was at least one caught behind review(DRS) which were turned down after seeing the replays, and in those cases also the ball barely missed the bat's edge. When commentators claimed to have heard some noise.! Why are not people discussing those? Everything about Sachin has to become a controversy, especially the ones where luck favors him by a millimeter. (not where he undeservingly gets out by cms...e.g. Shoulder/head before wicket!!)
Stuge Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 even I felt it was out ,but UDRS proved me wrong . whatever ,here we have computer which says out .SO we should accept it . Overall UDRS has really helped i
OldFella Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Misbah didn't have his quota of Kirket Ball Kebab a'la Afridi before batting...therefore, he lost his rythm. No cheating, no batting.
OldFella Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 They should have sent him a few balls to chew on in the drinks break...he would have been hitting sixes all the way to Pakistan. By the way, if he wants to break any of Sunny paa ji's records, he should try for the long standing one that has now been broken first...34 test centuries...and also against the cream of West Indian fast bowling. How many test centuries has MissBah got? Forget about West Indian bowling of the 70's and 80's...I don't think he could get ten against Ireland.
Sir_Afridi Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Ajmal should get over it now.It was very close but technology proved that it was not out. Ajmal should be proud instead that best players of spin had no clue against him especially Sachin who didnt picked his doosra.
OldFella Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Ajmal is better than Shane Warne. What a hero. Pity he is a whinger though eh?

Raina dismantled Saeed Ajmal in Srilanka. And also Saeed's strength is more the "pause" . He almost stops the release and delivers. It kinda worked for him that day.
OldFella Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 One does wish he would pause permanently and be stretchered off...what a champ!
vvvslaxman Posted April 6, 2011 Author Posted April 6, 2011 One does wish he would pause permanently and be stretchered off...what a champ! It was started by Saqlain, now Ajmal does. Also Hafeez does.
OldFella Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Hmmmm...pause for thought...I'd like to see a Pakistani pace bowler pause while in full flight on his run up...that would be like...quite unreal...the batsman would drop his bat in disbelief...easy wicket. Just leave it to them...they will do it....quite the circus performers our neighbours.

Appreciate Ajmal for out foxing all Indian batsmen. :hatsoff: Indian were edgy at home infront of thousands of their fans come back with better excuse next time

What happened to Ajmal in Asia cup ?:hysterical::haha: Btw Ajmal is a loser who is whinning about UDRS .

Appreciate Ajmal for out foxing all Indian batsmen. :hatsoff: Indian were edgy at home infront of thousands of their fans come back with better excuse next time I can show videos of Sachin struggling against Chawla and some mediocre bowlers in his career. If you have seen Tendulkar vs Paul harris (on his debut test) You would have said Harris is some kind of wizard. Happens to the best. Only spinner i know have troubled India in a series is Mendis. Now he is at the opposite end of the spectrum.

What happened to Ajmal in Asia cup ?:hysterical::haha: Btw Ajmal is a loser who is whinning about UDRS . They always like to find "positives" in a massive thrashing :hysterical: . Remember they were looking for positives after England tour. Bowled out for totals like 74, 78, 84.. :hysterical:
apuk79 Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Hawkeye clears tendulkar - Once and for all Hawkeye has cleared Tendulkar once and for all let this debate now end please. Look at the huge number of stats here. He was hit 2m out the crease not on the crease as dumb commentators said! The ball turned whatever ball he bowled it turned! Thats why it missed leg stump. Pak fans simply sore losers looking for excuses. http://www.hawkeyeinnovations.co.uk/UserFiles/File/Tendulkar%20DRS.pdf?PHPSESSID=dea64926972d1cc1c42836031274010c

We won 2 test matches despite missing out 2 best bats.Lets see how many test matches India win in UK this year.
