How old are you? 12? RD is one of the most technically proficient batsman out there. He isnt a cowlasher, but a delight to watch when he is on song.

I don't "hate" any cricketer, not even Pakis though I love making fun of them and don't really respect them that much (except the greats like Wasim and Imran). Also Punter's attitude did get on my nerves before but I don't have a problem with whatever he does now. He is a massive hypocrite though.

You might be in a minority there to hate Ravi Shastri.. He wasn't born with natural talent of Tendulkar or Gavaskar but achieved a lot with his hard work and dedication. In his first test he played as number 11 and with his hard work he progressed to being an opener who scored a double hundred in Australia..He was original mr. Dependable. Check his scores in India's only tied test match.. I have also seen him hit Imran for a six over head.. He was also man of the series in Australia in world series cup. He definitely has a wonderful cricketing brain.. If BCCI go for indian as a coach I don't think there can be better candidate then Shastri as a coach.. He did captain India few times and we were able to compare his captaincy with his peers like Kapil, Sri Kanth, Gavaskar and soon after Azhar.. Shastri was head and shoulders above the rest as a captain.. With regards to most hated cricketers I don't think there is anyone more hated then Afridi.. Guy is a shameless serial cheater. He danced on the pitch and tried to eat the cricket ball in full view of television cameras..

Ravi Shastri was one of the main reasons India won the Benson and Hedges championship in Australia defeating Pakistan. :hatsoff:

Sanjay Manjrekar: cheap publicity seeking columnist/commentator Always hated Ponting, but starting to like him now. Will be a good test of his character to see how he performs being at an all time low in his career. He's a gritty character, and I hope he becomes a bit more humble and rises to the occasion. We need other world class batsmen in cricket these days. Hated Shoaib Akhtar, somehow that guy always thought he had the upper ground on Sachin, despite only defeating him properly once in 1999. Also a chucker. Sangakarra, Randiv and Dilshan for being cheats.
