Manju is very 'neutral' he thinks the same way like some of the so called neutral commies from other countries who can't stand India playing well.

He tries too hard to project himself as a media person more than an ex-cricketer and like his perspective is that of the bigger picture. He reminds me of the umpires we had in the days gone by who would zabardasti give decisions in favor of the opposition in an effort to appear unbiased

Likewise.. He was a geunine trier in his playing days. Astute tactician and hard worker who played for the team. And now he is our lucky mascot.

I felt he was possibly the best captain India never had (the stop gap 1 test dunn count)
