It will take a 3rd rate slow bowler against a top class, hard hitting batsman on a flat, lifeless pitch with short boundaries. It can happen and probably will.

You need one bowler to target heavily compared to others. Afridi scored 41 runs off 11 balls from Jayasuriya. That leaves 59 in 26 balls which is very easily gettable in T20 era.
