satyam1729 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 It is funny to read in many English forums that they are expecting him to run through Indian batting line up .:hysterical::hysterical: He averaged 36 last time against India. :hysterical:
Cricket Tragic Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 He bowled well at Lord's last time. He is a much improved bowler but he still depends a fair bit on conditions.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Englishmen have a habit of hyping their players. Although Andersen is not that bad honestly. Now that England have won the Ashes, most of the English ex-players/commentators/"experts" believe that there's no way they can lose to India. They're in for a rude shock :haha:
Karan114 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 This guy is a seriously good Test bowler in English conditions...don't be misled by his ODI performances, where he is utter rubbish, especially in Asia. Even in Tests, signs are that he is developing outside England as well - he took 24 wickets at 26 in Australia last year.
WC2011INDIA Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 It is funny to read in many English forums that they are expecting him to run through Indian batting line up .:hysterical::hysterical: He averaged 36 last time against India. :hysterical: There are english cricket forums too? :hmmm:
satyam1729 Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 He bowled well at Lord's last time. He is a much improved bowler but he still depends a fair bit on conditions. They have not won against either India, SL, SA home or away in their last time. :hysterical:

Now that England have won the Ashes, most of the English ex-players/commentators/"experts" believe that there's no way they can lose to India. They're in for a rude shock :haha: This is definitely true...there is also a fair bit of jealous rubbishing of India's no.1 ranking Pak style from their fans and media. But despite all that, their pace attack is very strong these days. We have the batting quality to overcome them but we will need to be at our best.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 They have not won against either India' date=' SL, SA home or away in their last time. :hysterical:[/quote'] What does England's performance have to do with Anderson bowling well at Lord's on our previous tour in 2007?
Sid Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 I feel this English side will be very tough to beat in their home conditions,it will be an exciting series to watch as a fan :yay:
Karan114 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 He is better than fat boy Zaheer. Zaheer humiliated your batsmen in 2007 and 2008 Tests so troll on something else...though seeing how your "other" team just got embarrassed even by a team like the Paks I can understand the frustration
satyam1729 Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 He is better than fat boy Zaheer. Zaheer has a WC medal. Malcom marshall has not.
Sid Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 He is better than fat boy Zaheer. And the man in your avatar is better than any fast bowler that has graced this universe :finger:
satyam1729 Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 What does England's performance have to do with Anderson bowling well at Lord's on our previous tour in 2007? Because if Anderson is so good they would have won against these team at either of those places.
satyam1729 Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 link of any english forum? Some of the comments: Sehwag will be Anderson's ***** this summer. Zaheer isn't better than Anderson. And in English conditions? Give me a break. Anderson>everyone, at home :haha::hysterical:

Cricket Tragic Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 I feel this English side will be very tough to beat in their home conditions' date='it will be an exciting series to watch as a fan :yay:[/quote'] I agree. Anyone expecting India to smash England will be in for a surprise. If this series was at home, we'd beat the crap out of them. No contest. We CAN win but have to be at our best. I've not wanted India to win a series as badly as this for a long time. Sehwag might miss the tour. Dravid has been dire overseas for close to 5 years (last hundred outside India was in 2006). In fact, he hasn't really got big runs against the better teams even at home lately. Number 6 is still a bit of a concern. Zaheer needs to be fit for all 4 tests. 3rd seamer worry Harby's recent form (decent only in SA)
Cricket Tragic Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Because if Anderson is so good they would have won against these team at either of those places. I said that he bowled well at Lord's in 2007. That is all.
