In a corrupt country like India he had MANY friends in high places. Question is: Why would they go to such lengths to protect the Bobber? Surely not all were deluded to think he was genuine. Could it be that they did not want a national scandal or that there was too much money/personal reputation at stake?

It's a pity that he pretty much did whatever he liked, molesting boys, Conning gullible people, brokering politics and getting people murdered in his own ashram..Don't know how many people he and his gang has eleminated to 'keep the faith going'.. I'm pretty sure of many more "miracles" happening in future (with the blessings of the Sathya Trust) to help him attain the stature of God, and keep on the "faith going".. I hope this is not the 'ultimate trick' - go get burried and then come out of grave to claim ultimate god-hood. . P.S. If I was in his place, I would have planned such a thing.
