I remember seeing him in IPL2 and he was very good but havent followd IPL at all sense. He did look pretty good to me but still he hasnt even gotten anywhere close to national tea. WHY? Whats his progress?

It's the same way Rohan Gavaskar got into the Indian side and the same way Bedi & Madan lal's sons managed to play cricket at under-age national level. Like most places, which is especially true in India, it doesn't matter what you know or how talented you are, but it really does matter who you know and whom you are related to.

So Rohan was batting and Gavaskar was in comm box Sunil Gavaskar in the commentary box said Rohan is much more talented than me and when ESPNStarSports showed both of them pulling the ball. He was lyrical abt Rohan's shot and was downplaying his own dismissing it as a slog :haha:
