Asim Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Agree, thread probably taking a wrong turn, but now just to be a hypocrite; Yousuf benefited big time after his conversion, infact Yuosuf converting was a prerequisite for Pak captaincy. It would have been unpalatable for Islamic Republic of Pakistan's population to have their beloved cricket team led by Yusuf Youhana, which is fair enough. So please lets keep things in perspective. Bro you said thread taking a wrong turn and yourself giving it another wrong turn because Yousuf was never considered as a captain the time he converted or his conversion has nothing to do with it, had his conversion been the requirement, he would have been appointed as captain much earlier but the fact is Inzi, Younis and even Shoaib Malik was preferred over him even after his conversion and after all of them he was left almost as an automatic choice, no matter we had Yousuf Youhana or Muhammed Yousuf, PCB would have treated both in same way and also people loved both of them exactly the same. You mentioned population of Pakistan would have not accepted Youhana as captain of cricket team, feeling sorry for these remarks and probably you would also because for your kind information 3 years ago Islamic Republic of Pakistan appointed a Hindu as Cheif Justice Islamic Republic of Pakistan and all nation accepted him wholeheartedly, absolutely loved the man exactly the same way they love Ch. Iftikhar, when religion was never in mind of people for Chief Justice of Pakistan, where stands cricket team captain...
