I think that as Gotham said Afridi,s plan backfired he must have thought that going to the media and making himself look like some kind of an angel he,l gather support from ofcourse the fans and the PCB but i think that PCB didnt back him on this issue though i can only imagine if by chance Misbah and Co lose to Ireland and the Zims though i think there,s less chance of it but you never know if that happens fans are going to bash Misbah.

I think that Inzi as a player was miles ahead of his team mates so no one dared to go against him though i thought Inzi was not a great tactitian think it was Woolmer who was great tactitian.And this problem started with Malik being made the skipper in 2007 where IIRC MOYO and Afridi were expecting that they,l be named the Captain.And yes Hafeez looks like a sensible guy so he should be groomed for the position of captaincy and i think him and Misbah play for the same team for SGNP i think they had played a match here against Delhi Team.

Had watched one of his interviews Afridi,s with some Mobasshir guy in U.K where he also said that in 2003 he was the one who supported Waqar or Musharaf insisted that Waqar remained skipper for the WC. Though i wonder what happened that they all went against him under him you won 2-1 Down Under.
