Zero_Unit Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Ohh for crying out loud ... seriusly? This man was doing his job. Maybe not the best way but he was leading from the front atleast. Pakistan needed a HARDCORE captain like afridi not a sissi like Mishab. Not to mention he took pakistan to the semi finals (mostly due to his own performance) Anyways this was a wrong choice from PCB and will come back to bite up their ass

Sid Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Changing captains is our right: Ijaz Butt KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ijaz Butt refused to share his reasons behind the sacking of Shahid Afridi as the team’s One-Day International (ODI) captain, saying that it was the board’s right to change captain and that decision was taken in the best interest of the team. “Captains are changed all over the world and no cricket board gives a reason for that,” the chairman told The Express Tribune. “We did what we thought was best and don’t need to give a reason for it.” Ijaz also backed his decision to appoint Test captain Misbahul Haq, 37, as Afridi’s successor, adding that lack of options in the squad forced the move. “We’re looking at everyone’s performance and discipline and we’re trying to pinpoint a suitable candidate for the captain’s position for the future.” http://tribune.com.pk/story/172678/justification-changing-captains-is-our-right-pcb/ :hysterical::cantstop:
Sachin=GOD Posted May 23, 2011 Author Posted May 23, 2011 Pakistan cricket can never move forward till fools like Ijaz Butt are involved in it. Some of the former players really need to do something otherwise there really is no hope for Pakistan cricket.
