Serani Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Yeh so I guess all the runs he scored at U19 level mean we should pity the state of world cricket, no offence but who are you to judge a players technique when you are nobody?
Serani Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 My credentials are better than yours believe me, and dont worry about braff he will score runs in the future despite his techinique.
Sir_Afridi Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 What happened to Barath who scored a 100 in Aus ??
Cricket Tragic Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 What happened to Barath who scored a 100 in Aus ?? Injured, as usual.
ganeshran Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 If his technical issues were not a result of first match jitters, he wont go far in International cricket. I hate to see batsmen shuffling to get into position when the ball is being bowled.
Karan114 Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 If his technical issues were not a result of first match jitters' date= he wont go far in International cricket. I hate to see batsmen shuffling to get into position when the ball is being bowled. Agreed. Let's see how he gets on in his second innings (probably tomorrow, though with the Pakistani 'batting' could even be today).
Zelig Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 As long as he puts numbers on the board, technique don't matter :nice:
kabira Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 When Gayle is back against India, he won't be in XI anyways. New guys from windies don't know how to play spin, Apart from Gayle, Sarwan and Bravo Sr. they will succumb to spin. we should go with two spinners for sure. I am thinking Bhajji and Mishra.
fineleg Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 As long as he puts numbers on the board' date=' technique don't matter :nice:[/quote'] Sehwag's been able to do just that.
Sid Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 ^Please dont bring Sehwag in this, technique is not all about footwork, have you ever seen Veeru bat,he plays the right strokes and is always pleasing on the eye and most importantly plays straight. He has one of the best forward defensive shot ,its just that he doesnt defend much. This Braithwaite is just ugly to watch and very mediocre.
Sir_Afridi Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Sehwag's been able to do just that. Not in SA,NZ & Eng where the ball swings a bit.
Dhruv200 Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Not in SA' date='NZ & Eng where the ball swings a bit.[/quote'] Still better than Pakistani batsmen who get out for lowest scores i wonder how much are PAKISTANI batsman averaged in countries like Eng SA Aus
Sid Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Not in SA' date='NZ & Eng where the ball swings a bit.[/quote'] Please Sir _Retard keep out of this,we are discussing Test Kirkut and you have retired from that.
