Late Cut Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Hey all, If any of you work in public accounting in India, please let me know. I have a couple of questions.
ravishingravi Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I am a CA although I am no longer in what you would call "accounting". But you can throw your query. Maybe you will get lucky !

Hey, what are the requirements to take the CA examination? What does an individual with an Accounting degree from AACSB accredited US university have to do to meet these requirements? Also finally are you aware what the procedure is for a CPA in US to obtain the CA? Would he/she have to take the examination?

There are basically 2 levels after graduation. 6 papers in first level and 8 in the next. I am not aware of any CPAs who have taken up CA so I can't say much. But to the best of my knowledge they don't get exemption, although I ll check this out.
