I still don't believe you..... Anyways...when it is a choice between starvation and prostitution...you can't call it willfully. Most men like to believe that these women do it willingly because they don't want the guilt trip associated with being a part of the whole thing. And when they need to earn money...they won't send the guys on a guilt trip by telling him that they have no choice.
precisely.. Willfully category of prostitution is just the new arrival of high-society call-girls. In those red-light areas you would not find any willful ones.

There is very little forced prostitution in India. That is a fact. And the biggest reason for that fact is poverty. When there are women willing to sell their body to feed their belly, one doesn't need to force that woman into prostitution. How does selling body to feed belly translate to willingness?:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Man...you have to be a really insensitive to think these women do it willingly.

It's amazing you have sympathy for the european sex workers .....or atleast accept that they are victims....but have non of that for the poor Indian ones who according to your opinion are doing it all just for money .... It's men like that who turn poor victims into who*res.

The word 'willing' does not mean only ' to want to do something'. Willing also means someone who has taken an independent decision, thereby making it his/her will. Because no one is forcing you or holding you hostage or pointing a gun at your head, it is your independent choice and therefore, it is NOT forced prostitution!

It is not a question of sympathy. I am highlighting the differing causes that influence prostitution in different cultural/economic spheres.

You have just taken a stand and are just debating for the sake of debating...only someone completely devoid of sensitivity can say that decision made because of hunger pangs are not forced decisions...so much for your bloody stand on human rights. This seems like those school debates where you are given a view point to debate even if you don't believe in it just for the heck of it!

I have state to you the definition of forced decisions - it is when someone else is forcing you to do something. NOT when you are doing something of your own volition (whatever the reasons may be). Apne emotions ko lagaam do aur baato ka sahih matlab nikaliye, memsahab :)
