jairamesh Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 “People of double standards never experience happiness.†You gotta love how so many people and especially the media uphold Holding’s integrity. Michael Holding was one of the first ones to run bowl in hand to Allen Stanford (Remember him!). Allen Stanford publicly stated he “Hates Test cricketâ€, and yet Holding was more than happy to be associated with Stanford whose primary interest in cricket was Twenty20. Holding was happy to take shed loads of money from Stanford for being an Ambassador for Stanford T20 (by the way which involved doing nothing). Michael Holding also secured a contract for managing Stanford T20 matches post-presentation ceremonies for his wife (Laurie Ann Holding), see picture below. So old Mikey was all smiles when he *****d himself and cricket in Caribbean to this criminal and yet he has cheek to criticize others (we all know who) for foul play. I have not even mentioned how old Mikey, the Windies greats, and ECB *****d the sacred Lords to a criminal with a plan to control global cricket, thank goodness the American FBI did their job well and captured Stanford befored he had raped international cricket. Hence, “the great†before Michael Holding holds no credibility when anything comes out of his mouth. http://www.flickr.com/photos/61455944@N00/214717003/ Mikey (4th from the left), Stanford, and Mikey's wife (in the orange top), hypocrisy is truly well and alive.

King Tendulkar Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Dont forget to mention packer series as well:--D
BERGKAMP Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Mikey (4th from the left)' date=' Stanford, and Mikey's wife (in the orange top), hypocrisy is truly well and alive.[/quote'] Err I dont paticularly like the guy, and think he is just a bit of a whiner in general, but as far as I recall he had nothing to do with Stanford and was one of the few who we're against it right fron the start. The 4th from the left in your picture is Courtney Walsh by the way.
saneindian Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Holding did join the Stanford t20 league initially but had a change of heart later and did criticise the overall concept.
BERGKAMP Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 'I'm not interested in being involved with Mr Stanford because I do not think Mr Stanford is telling the people what he's really about,' he said. 'I am not going to be involved in farce. He's telling people in the Caribbean that he wants to revive West Indian cricket but how is a week of Twenty20 cricket in Antigua going to do that? 'If what he started to do initially had been carried on it would have benefited West Indies cricket because he was involved in the development of the game in various islands and donated money to them to improve their infrastructure. That is when I was involved but now Stanford has got into bed with the ECB he doesn't need to do that anymore so he has abandoned it. He wants to promote himself and his companies, that's all. If people can't see that then I can't help them, it's their problem.' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/cricket/article-1050024/Theres-Holding-Michael-loses-faith.html
