Square Drive Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Welcome to a world of hurt without Murali and Malinga in the ranks :hmmm: ..not really. Win or lose I like to see something new in a cricket team instead of seeing the same players, strategies for years. In a way, new players, experiments make the game more exiting.
Stuge Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 how did Sri lanka managed to lose this :hmmm: Well played England
mishra Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Congrats.. I didnt see the end. Did Beefy break the Sky Sports cameras or jump on Nasser Hussain :hysterical:
Raghav_12 Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Great Win for England. Congrats. I would not have expected much from this bunch of SL bats with an exception of Sanga, yet this capitulation was beyond imagination. I bet you put same of set of SL batsmen back at SSC, Colombo and atleast 3-4 of them would hit double hundreds in each innings of test match.
akshaywekhande Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 England played superbly no doubts but it was sri lankans who played ridiculously those lankans have proved that they are only good for dead flat pata wickets & now without murali winning on those sri lankan pitches will also be dificult for them.

Without Murali, Srilanka looks ordinary.
Sidhoni Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 SL does not have "batsmen". They have one batsman in Sangakkara and a bunch of FTBs who are sitting ducks away from home. what abt Mahela??
Sidhoni Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011   what a match, a gr8 advert for test match cricket :two_thumbs_up:
