I think so far he's been alright, can't judge him on the basis of the ODI series. But what I did not like was he made such bold statements after 3rd odi, that we'll dominate for 5-10 years more and we couldn't win even 1 of the last 2 matches. I liked Kirsten who didn't talk much on press conferences, making bold prediction and statements and just kept doing the job inside. Test team is a good one, will be interesting to see how it goes there, also Dhoni will be there and I'm sure he'll be quite helpful for us during England tour.

There was a thread stared by 1 poster 1983-2011 where i said the same thing that its too early to judge him but his words were twisted by the media he never said this .

Given that our trio will phase out in the next 1 year. Though I agree our bench strength is as good but they're yet to prove themselves in International cricket. It just adds on pressure to our players to prove. Even Kirsten was asked such questions, but he always replied them that they are focused on doing good currently, that was how we were so successful under him.
