The batsmen have had just one bad session and here we've got people already writing obituaries for the Indian team :wall: Most of the people who are so pessimistic are the ones who had completely written off India after we lost the 1st test in South Africa also :finger:

I don't think we are writing off India. In fact I would be very surprized if India ends up losing the Test series. What most of the folks are upset about is regarding the itinerary and BCCI, especially the fact that there was no practice game before the Test series. And for the Test specialists who weren't in the odi squad they simply jumped into the Test match after a gap of 4 months or so!!!

It always happen and it wont change, just wait and see if Raina scores a ton here. All people who didn't want him to even be in squad will hail Raina as the next big thing. Its common Indian fan mentality, we never back the team when their down.

Nobody is writing them off, but it was a team that looked arrogant. Just have a look at Murali Vijay's shot. He was still in T20 mode. One bad session is good enough to lose a series BTW. SL just had one bad session against England and they've lost the series.

As Indians, we tend to be quite pathetically ball-less. I would say what goes on here is quite representative. There are types of fans that properly support the team when it's going through a bad spell. I'm sad to say we're not that type.

246 might just be the highest score in all 4 innings going by how much the ball was turning towards the end yesterday and how inconsistent the bounce was. All is not lost.
