jairamesh Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Go Sailkots, come on Stallions lets prove a point that cricket is not only for straight men.
CoverDrive Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Let Karachi vs. Lahore war begin This is natural format for Pakistani players.
Gotham Cronie Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 lots of top pakistani players are playing in english t20' date=' arent they gonna play in their own domestic t20 league which will start tomorrow?[/quote'] They should be playing. Especially since there's no international cricket in Pakistan. But this isn't Pakistan's only Twenty20 league. The annual one is in a few months. This one is just a short one they're starting this year with only the top 8 teams from last year's annual tournament.
ganeshran Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Why will they come to play the domestic T20 when county cricket pays higher :dontknow:
Sir_Afridi Posted June 24, 2011 Author Posted June 24, 2011 Looks like a star is born. Asif Ali scores a 100 as opener in 20/20. wow http://www.espncricinfo.com/faysal-2020cup-2011/engine/current/match/519387.html
gaurav92 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 ^:fail: He was batting at no.3 :hahaha: But yes, the opener got out on the very first ball so he was virtually an opener :phehehe:
Misu243 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Serious talk...Afridi should be sacked for good to make way for young players like this lad...terrific innings.
deepak_sach Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Pathetic competition watched by Pathetic Pak People.
jashan83 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Hey guys we indians keep opening IPL thread on all forums. Similarly we should respect the competition of others. Lets not ridicule it
VRV Singh Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 You have to admit it does kind of ask to be ridiculed.. Muhammad Sami (Captain) :haha:
Sidhoni Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Same font for all teams ' date=' must have used "word art" of MS word :cantstop:[/quote'] :haha::haha:
phaedrus Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Looks like a star is born. Asif Ali scores a 100 as opener in 20/20. wow http://www.espncricinfo.com/faysal-2020cup-2011/engine/current/match/519387.html you say that after a grand total of 1 inning? wow indeed
Sir_Afridi Posted June 26, 2011 Author Posted June 26, 2011 Watch Faysal bank series for few days here http://www.hdcricketon.net/freepreview/
Ultimate_Game Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Is it an offshoot of SLPL? Sorry am confused as SLPL was about to start off with plenty of Paki players :hmmmm2: As for a "star is born" we are used to it by now... these kind of shooting stars are common to Pakistan. I am glad Asnodkar and Valthatty aren't Pakistanis as they would be hailed as the next coming of Bradman by now :haha:

mishra Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 BCCI is unfair. Finalists or atleast Winner should be also allowed to participate in champions league
nballa Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 will they use speed guns? why of course, its their second favorite sport after cricket. someone linked me to a hilarious thread where they used frame by frame analysis to compute some of the speeds of a certain pace demon who played in two tests and five odis in his career and quickly and accurately concluded his average speed was 165-167 kmph, nevermind that he was driven for 6's straight down the ground or late cut for 4's by so called players who couldn't play pace.
