I watched it Live. Umpire did not call it Noball, after catch was complete, he told players he is checking for noball and put his arm up to show that. Looks like an honest mistake and the guy who made the mistake has been fired. LOL The 30 odd runs from Dhoni would have changed the game.

Showing another replay is one thing and changing a program's outcome like the Hawkeye is a completely different thing. You cant change things like that on the fly in a computer program like the Hawk eye when the umpire wants the replay instantly. Though I cant really vouch for the accuracy of a simulation like the Hawk eye.

Unless the score is 300/5, yeah. I have more faith in Harbhajan's batting pulling us out of a difficult situation than Dhoni's.

^LOL what about first test in SA this year, 2nd innings, score wanst 300/5 for sure...and last tour of England, he was there to save the game in Lords... He looked good in Jamaica 2nd innings, Remember its not easy to come from India, playing IPL and world cup for 3 months. and straight away adjust to the bounce. As a batsman always found it difficult to adjust from low bounce to high bounce, rather than other way around.

Well, he has played what 50-60 test matches - obviously he is going to have some good innings, even Harbhajan has them. But he is nowhere as good as being a specialist batsman. He is a good keeper and a good captain, so obviously adds huge value to the side, but if I think of specialist batsmen it would be someone as good as Gilchrist or Sangakkara (when he kept).

^Yes agree, but he is a decent ODI Batsman. The reason he didn't succeed in Test Cricket more is that he comes at no.7 and he cannot be flexible even if he wants to because of the Heavy Batting Line up of our side. Also the fact that he is not the "main" batsman, doesn't raise the expectation bar.

^compare the averages for Gilchrist and Sangakarra when they kept the wickets and I am sure it will be really similar. Gilchrist refused to captain Australia as he was not fine with the dual role of keeper and captain. Sanga gave up keeping to become specialist test batsman. I think calling him tailender is very harsh. Average of 38 is not of tailender really. He is our all rounder. so you can expect few failures and few match turning innings from him. He is fully capable.
