Lets not hype them otherwise if they turn out to be not good enough the disappointment is greater. Indian fans should learn from the Kohli saga.
Yeah. Look what we got from our high expectations of him - an ODI average of 43 with 5 centuries after around 60 matches. Fastest Indian to 1000 ODI runs. Number 2 in ODI batting rankings. 2nd highest run scorer of the year in ODIs in 2010. Crucial innings in the WC (which India won :--D) ..........I guess Chota Khatmal would've achieved so much in just 1 series :giggle:

I just checked this guy's record - he hasn't even played a List A game' date=' leave alone FC. The sum total of his achievements at a senior level are a couple of Twenty20 fifties and he's already being touted as a "batsman to watch out for" :haha:[/quote'] True, but he opened for India at the last U19 WC, same side as Mandeep Singh, Ashok Menaria and Unadkat. And did ok in what was largely a not so great tourno for us. Mandeep and Ashok have had good starts to their FC careers, did well in the Duleep Trophy. Probably the most promising of the bunch. Ishank has a fine List A record, more than an FC one and was top scorer for Jharkand as they won the Vijay Hazare ltd overs tourno last season.

He might have some talent, but is merely a T20 player at domestic level at the moment.

Ravindra Jadeja is better than your CHota AKmal
