Looks like the wicket keeper really enjoyed stumping Miandad out. Miandad was really good against spinners but he looked out of sorts there. Siva used to turn the ball a mile and had a great wrong un. Whatever brought his career to a halt at an early age?

The fielding, catching, bowling and batting was really top class for that time. No wonder India won the 1983 world cup followed by the 1985 B&H tourney.

Mandrake Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 India beat Pak again in the Rothman's cup in Sharjah following this tournament despite being bowled out for 125.They went on to beat the Aussies to win the tournament.Probably the best run of ODI tournament wins.
