I think PK get's a lot of undue criticism here. Yes he bowls around 77-80 and that's a weakeness of his game. But I would ALWAYS prefer a guy who can bowl it at 77-80 and swing the ball around both ways with very good control and length than a guy who can bowl it at 85 but bowls it straight.

He bowled 70-75 mph mostly in WI, did not even touch 80 mph often...Swing bowling certainly works even against the best batsmen, but a bowler need achieve certain speed to trouble good batsmen, 115-120K may not work every time and that can also create problems for captain at times. He is a good and smart bowler, but limitations are there.

In winter season in North, red ball always swings when it is new and it also depends whether bowler is looking to swing the ball or not. Swing is an art which is achieved by practice.
