How can you be reminded of something which you haven't witnessed?
I saw that innings in 2007 for the first time, and by that time, I had already seen Sachin of the 90s, the fearless young bloke. And hence this reminded me of those innings of his in the 90s. P.S : You don't have to dig deep into everything I post :icflove:
how old is g92?
18 and a half :)

Abe chutiye, you can't be reminded of something you haven't witnessed first hand. You can only identify with the experience. I can't say something reminded me of the bowling of Joel Garner when I have never seen him bowl live. Samjha?

Yep We Qualified For The Final' date='s Because Of His 100 Against Zimbabwe .[/quote'] Btw, we had to chase a target in 40 overs or so to beat Zimbabwe (the other team being South Africa). In the final against South Africa, he started in blazing fashion almost blowing away Daryl Cullinan's cut at short point with the power of his shot. However, as it always happens, there was an umpiring error. Rudi Bryson bowled a 7 ball over and Tendulkar was caught freakishly at short fine leg. I think Rahul Dravid also hit Alan Donald for a six over his head in the same match and Donald was furious.

And The Match Was Started All Over Again Next Day And Cullinan Had Even Said That If I Would Have Touched That Ball It Would Have Blown My Hand Away .

^^^^^ That was a great hundred especially becasues of the previous match when olanga troubled tendulkar.A fitting reply was needed and given.
It wasnt only troubled, I think it was more to do with Olonga's celebration after the dismissal.

85 against WI in 1994 is one of the better knocks with India at 40/4 in the second innings having taken a lead of about 20 in the first dig.
I'd add the 55 vs Australia in 2004 and the two 50s in 2001 (just for the brilliant shots). [ame=

Just for the stokeplay!
Too good. All myth's busted in one innings: Away from home, Under pressure, 2nd innings, slows down near 100, , playing with the tail (which seemed to have started at 2down).. Just look at the milestones: Ind-88-5 , SRT-50. Ind-166-6, SRT-100 Ind-208-9, SRT-122.

Awesome Strokeplay. Absolutely loved this innings. Donald was made to look like a pie-chucker.
