LOL ' date='It is Englands fault that India selecting non fit players .[/quote'] I know it is all our fault. Next time we beat you it will be our fault again for playing better:hysterical:

Er he was fit. Just got unluckily injured! Can happen to anyone' date=' as I evidenced by top footballers.[/quote'] He is over weight and at the twilight of his career. If you are going to select him he needs 5th bowler cover and Dhoni is not a 5th bowler

never hapened to ZK before, just unlucky. Footballers are top athletes. They are always pulling hammies in middle of matches, why is that poor preperation on their part? ZK jsut got injured cos he got injured. Over analysing of a pulled hamstring
ZK's injury and fitness history does not make great reading. Do you think he was adequately prepared for this Test, which can only have compounded this? Same can go for the other guys that didn't go WI. Why the football angle when you can compare with his fellow seamers around the world? Everything to me seems to suggest he was put in half-fit owing to his importance. Not sure we can withhold England credit because of that. I am not slitting my wrists as we are poor starters anyway, just realistic.

I'll consider England as #1 if they win this series and..if they beat India in India with one of their premier batsmen and worldclass bowler missing from the team as well as one of their top batsman playing with fever.

You picked them not us. You have not prepared for this series well enough and so it is no good crying that it is unfair when you get thrashed. You have an aging team of superstars, but they still need to prepare properly. Too much IPL

If you have a comeback:--D
Going by the recent history of current Indian team - there have been more examples of comeback than otherwise. Unless you have some memory loss issues. The team that has done it more than once, surely knows how to do it once more ( and more, if required)

No I do not, but the point you are missing is that that was against a fading Austrailian side etc. This is a thrusting determined England side of young players and some experienced ones. You are also failing to see that your oldies are going to find it hard playing so many back to back games

England's got the bragging rights, deservedly. Zaheer's fitness issue must have been expected. He was coming in straight into an important test match with no match practice. He should have skipped the IPL & played a test or two in WI. The guys who did something noteworthy in this test match were the ones who did well in WI - Raina, Mukund, Dravid, Laxman, Ishant, PK et al were well prepared for this test & it shows in their results. Contrast them with Gambhir, Tendu, ZK who had a long lay off & looked totally off color (though you could cut some slack for Gambhir who could not have helped avoid his injury).

ZK was selected for windies tour, Guess he was not 100% fit to tour it. Probably was but dint want to. Sachin I think does not do well in Lords, and he looked good in 1st innings. He is not major worry. Good that Raina showed some courage. We need Gambhir in full flow and then we are all set. I want Dhoni to come and play his shots, play with freedom. Tuk Tuk is not his game. If he is surviving 100 balls, he should look to score 70.

the thing is he could have gotten injured in the windies. He has to sort his fitness out, he is way too out of shape to consistantly play at the highest level. and he is not getting any younger

Hence proved, you do have memory loss. As I said before, there have been more than one examples (since Jan-2010 - twice against SA - in SA and in Ind, once against SL in SL).
