Cricket Tragic Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Something tells me Kholi will be the man india will look at in the future. BTW whats with all the attack towards Broad? Look at our own players ... one even acts like a monkey. Critisize them first before looking at others -_- Have you not seen the million threads on Harby and Sree?
Pagalpanti Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Whoever comes in' date=' our batting will never be the same again.[/quote'] Probably, but prior to Sachin.. people thought India would never get a player like Gavaskar and guess what.... we got Sachin. So don't lose hope Honestly though I think we might get a run machine like Sachin but we might never get a player like Sehwag.

Aggresive openers are easy to come by Finding one with the skill to stay there is the trick There aren't many who can hunker down like Sehwag can, so the Indian team might have to start playing a little more carefully at the beginning of the innings
jukkha Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I hope the young guns are keeping trim (and learn from Lords 1st test prep) while waiting in the wings, (i.e. Kolhi, Rohit Sharma and co)..
pinkfreud Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 ^ :WTF: why would I be jealous of Broad :hmmmm: If I had to be jealous of those things why look beyond the Indian team anyway?? rofl.

Yoda-esque Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 lucky...I'm white so if I said at a bar that an Indian player acted like a monkey I'd get my head caved in No ..You won't..Monkey isn't considered a racial slur amongst Indians. Most Indians are oblivious to the term "racist". You'd be more likely to get your head "caved" in for hitting on someone else's girl though :giggle:

In my defence I was severely inebriated at the time
NareshK Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Pujara has done great in FC cricket but whatever I've seen of him in South Africa where he played a test match didnt inspire a lot of confidence. He struggled to lay bat on ball against Steyn, Morkel and looked completely out of sorts. Is he going to be one of those guys who scores massively in domestic cricket but doesnt do so well in foreign swinging, seaming, bouncing pitches ? Why is this guy getting hyped up so much when we have seen so many others who have failed in test cricket despite having promised a lot in FC cricket ? Again I dont want to judge him before he had his run in tests but I've read lots of comments in Cricinfo, here and elsewhere who expect a lot from him already.
Sid Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 India's future superstar Saurabh "cowlash" Tiiwary was our player of the day at Emerging Players tournament today.A grand total of 7 sixes today :isalute:
