King Posted June 15, 2007 Author Share Posted June 15, 2007 South Africa has fantastic sports culture. They love their sports. Cricket, Rugby are all followed quite closely by the Saffies. I have heaps of Saffie mates and they are a good bunch. They love their sport and everyone seems to know to play golf. Link to comment

I think cricket is the only game which has such extreme patterns in fan following.. Maybe 20/20 is the ICC's attempt to make the sport more global... Link to comment

But , even in nations that do not play rugby , they ATLEAST know that there is a sport called rugby. I bet people in 3/4 of americas and many countries in europe havent even heard the name cricket..
