Predator_05
India bowled out SL for 81 back in the early 90's, and in recent years there have been plenty of sub-100 scores. Bangladesh were bowled out for 81 in their 2nd innings of the inaugaral test. NZ bowled out for 92 at Hamilton in '02. Australia were bowled out for 93 in '04. Other low scores include Australia being bowled out for 83 back in '85 @ Melbourne. Any others you guys can think of ? Trying to compile a list. Link to comment
Predator_05
Re: LOWEST TOTALS RECORDED BY TEAMS AGAINST INDIA ? This was SA's lowest total ever recorded since the post-Apartheid era !! Unbelievable ! Who could have thought they would suffer such humiliation in their OWN BACKYARD ? Massive achievement. Link to comment

Predator_05
Re: LOWEST TOTALS RECORDED BY TEAMS AGAINST INDIA ? LOL ! One hell of an improvement though. SA's lowest score vs India at home was previously 235 @ Durban ! Prasad took a fiver but India crashed and burned - all out for 66 and 100. PAYBACK TIME !! :wtg: Link to comment
Dhondy
Re: LOWEST TOTALS RECORDED BY TEAMS AGAINST INDIA ? SA's lowest total against any team since 1957, I believe. Link to comment

Gambit
Re: LOWEST TOTALS RECORDED BY TEAMS AGAINST INDIA ? This test is almost like the Durban test of 96/97. Prasad bowled well and RSA made 235. Then AD shot us out for 100. Prasad bowled well again and RSA made 230 odd setting us a 350+ target. But this time the roles have been reversed and how! Coming back to the OP, here are some memorable bowling performances I can remember: Aus: 93 all out at Mumbai. They were chasing 105 to win and lost by 12 runs. One of our most memorable wins against them. RSA: This and 105 all out at Motera when Srinath bowled the best spell I've ever seen from an Indian pacer. NZ: 94 all out. The lowest first innings total ever to achieve a lead. Remember we were 99 all out. This test should have been ours had we batted with a little more application in the 3rd innings of the game. Gambit
Re: LOWEST TOTALS RECORDED BY TEAMS AGAINST INDIA ? This year West Indies(103- 4th test) and RSA recorded their lowest ever totals against India. :wtg: Link to comment
shailesh
Re: LOWEST TOTALS RECORDED BY TEAMS AGAINST INDIA ? hmm clear indication that our bowling power is on a rise. if we continue this way, the away tours following WC - England and Australia are going to be a treat. Link to comment
Gambit
Re: LOWEST TOTALS RECORDED BY TEAMS AGAINST INDIA ? England especially given the way Sreesanth has used swing to his advantage. Bowled extremely intelligently and set the batsmen up. If Pathan can get his mojo back by then, England 2007 should be a memorable tour. :wtg: Link to comment
Predator_05
hmmm...so after setting new records vs WI and SA, what are the odds on India shooting out England for a sub-100 total ? The lowest total ENG ever recorded vs IND was 101 a.o. at the Oval, but this was way back in 1971. In recent years, their lowest totals have been 191 at Mumbai '06 and 181 at Mohali in that same series. Link to comment
dial_100
Sharjah final vs Pak. Ind scored 125 and got Pak all out for 87 or something.. Link to comment
Gambit
Bowling England out for less than 200 would be an achievement given how well their batting has been doing of late(except Ashes). Link to comment
