koolkarts Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Yeh mate Varun Aaron is really quick..... lol j/k. Quicker than anything England has at the moment. (I think) http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/cricket/article4039980.ece 153kph
jonas10 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 India could have definitely humiliated the English and said due to security concerns they cant play in England. You know basically the same BS that countries like England have been pulling the last 40 years. Every country wants to play India the money the games pull in is at least double so I dont know who that gora is kidding.

They came back and played, let us least try to be gracious.
Stuge Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 This post is nonsense. How quickly we forget Nov 2008. They came back and played' date=' let us least try to be gracious.[/quote'] its because of Money ,and yes India could have done the same .Leave the test matches , and let the things settle down ,then play ODI's like England did in 2008.

(I think) http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/cricket/article4039980.ece 153kph Nice irrelevent article from three years ago, I have seen Broad, Finn and Meaker all clock quicker than 153 K's in the last few months.
achilles Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Closed the door on his IPL contract. Great work Tim. You can't abuse us and then come back licking our ass when you want to make money.
Serani Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 You act like England players dont get paid :giggle: They dont need the money.
rajmarie Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I demand all the matches of Eng-Ind - in India series to be played in Chennai. :hitler: They all will get roasted to the bones. Dont worry...we will get our turn. Then on our spinner bowler friendly wickets...All the Eng media & Eng players will cry sayign that the wicket is underprepared...& will look stupid on those bowler friendly tracks. But then again..I m sure...Eng will prepare better for that tour...& ECB will have atleast 2 1st class games....before the 1st Test...unlike our moronic BCCI
Cricket Tragic Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 You act like England players dont get paid :giggle: They dont need the money. The England players made decent money but it's not massive amounts. 250k for the top players and 40k for those on incremental contracts.
Serani Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 250 K plus match fees, endorsements and other perks such as getting a free Jaguar. Its not like they need an IPL contract unlike the WI, Pak NZ, SL players.

Yeah, they make more than players from those countries but it is not really huge money for a sportsman. 100k is 4 times the national average but not really massive for a successful banker in the city. A 2nd/3rd year analyst makes that much.
