I too dint switched on the TV.....just asked kitne wicket........thats it..........the losses dont hurt......how we are being beated is hurting more..........and the bastard englishmen like Vaughan are rubbing it in.
What is more painful is the endless gloating that will now ensue from the Poms. Come to think of it when the English were getting bottoms kicked by the Aussies back in the day' date=' arrogant *****s like Sir Ian Botham and Atherton would go around strutting a pompous smile. Can you imagine the smirk in their faces right now?[/quote'] To be honest, I haven't even ventured towards the English press, Twitter feeds, forums etc. for these past few weeks...problem is, this 4-0 is going to be rubbed into our faces for a long time to come, so it will be unavoidable for quite some time :(( What have you done, Team India...words can't begin to describe what a horrendous time this is for Indian fans :((

His ODI average in India- 67 or 68
I am talking primarily about Test cricket but the argument applies for ODI cricket as well. Okay, he deserved a go at ODI cricket in all conditions. He has not done as well in ODI cricket in India as elsewhere so perhaps should not play home ODIs. He has been correctly selected and has not done well. It is bloody naive to assume that the correct selections will always do well. Error is inevitable.

most painful few weeks of supporting Indian team .. am taking off from watching cricket for some time .
Never seen you this pessimistic, buddy...I've always seen you being optimistic even in the toughest times...just shows how badly India have crumbled on this tour :((

Not to mention PK has only really had one decent bowling partner in Ishant for the past 6 tests: In Windies: Mishra/Bhajji/Mithun were useless In England: Bhajji/Zak injured/Sree useless. PK has only had half decent support from ishant at times here and definitely in the Windies. But he still keeps doing the same thing again and again. 25 odd batsmen from the West Indies to England in different playing conditions found him near impossible to get away for easy runs or more than 3 or so runs an over. Is he perfect? Hell no. But he's EASILY done the job that Bhajji or more experienced bowlers should have done: Take 2/3 wickets an innings and keep things tight. That's the perfect definition of a first change bowler. Now we just need a good new ball partnership. Ishant maybe, but with who?
Nah. Praveen has to have the new ball, imo. He is most deadly when the ball is swinging. You say 2/3 wickets an innings and keep things tight but I think you underestimate his very real ability to run through a side. Give him access to a lower order under pressure (maybe with a second new ball) and you will see him get a Test five wicket haul before long.

You can't afford to carry guys like him when the bowling attack is a mess anyway. His flaws are somewhat exacerbated by the failures of Ishant and Harbhajan/Mishra alongside. Zaheer's control and the spinners normally keeping a lid on things probably helped cover it for a while, but the reality is at crunch time a guy who bowls a worldy of a spell one in ten innings for about 3-4 years shouldn't really be persisted with. It's understandable though as the cupboard isn't exactly brimming.

they are ***in too focused on eating all the time. In india... if u become famous u automatically get good lookin girls. What else do they need? they dont need to fit or anything. Embarrising double chins for sree, sehwag and raina... wtf. Amazing fitness by the english.

Why Indian Fans are surprised? The downfall of Indian test was already expected Our Budha lot Sachin Dravid Laxman Sehwag( clearly looks 35 year old no matter what his paper age is) is soon going to leave test cricket we don't have replacements for them MSD -- Indian captains hardly play good innings Gambhir and Raina are disappointing Zak is going to retire soon and no replacement in near future Bhajji Out of form ,could bounce back or it may be end of his career no replacement in sight Other slow medium fast bowlers Ishant, sree etc are gamble On the other hand we are playing against an English team that has proven itself as very good quality test team with replacements. So this type of drubbing is not so surprising

What has surprised us is that it took so long for you to jump out of the woodwork. After such a detailed, in depth and insightful analysis dripping with wisdom and knowledge I am sure you can crawl right back in. I am sure the WC win is still surprising you quite a bit.

The thing is junior county players are given a strength and training programme from a young age, this will obviously create superior athletes and a good work ethic as your career progresses. India are still stuck in the 70's when it comes to fitness and gym work, they have access to the best facilities and nutritionists yet are still unfit and overweight.

Their physique is so aesthetically pleasing to eyes' date=' no player has chubby cheeks, beer gut, double chin etc. They are so lean, so obviously that makes them look taller. I have noticed opposition players on cardio cycle in dressing room on many ocassions, why Indian players dont indulge in such activity instead of just sitting there idle? Dont our guys have no knowledge about whey protein n stuff? Now dont come with something like our Raina is fit etc, he is not he is actually skinny fat, hardly any muscles underneath that. Such physique tends to degrade alot faster eg. Yuvi was our best fielder only 4yrs ago. Except Sachin who has gained alot of upper body mass in last 2-3yrs, he looks toned for 38yr old, other players lack fitness.[/quote'] Come out of the closet buddy. Tell us how bad you wanna **** Cook. Flamy is all ears.

We had good last 2 years. Lets see how well we do when Eng visit India next. They look very strong and have a very well balanced side, they are a lot fitter and mentally they are in the game. I think its time to find new players and throw them in, most people criticized selectors for sending the A team to WI but I guess they knew the condition of the usual XI. I am hopeful and it'll be best if we start giving new players (especially bowlers) a chance. Cant take anymore of Bhajji - Sharma - Munna - Zak & co. PS: Pls no Dinda
