Sachin=GOD Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 One bad series and people are over reacting as if this team has been losing for years and years. Remember guys, this is the same team that has been doing very well in both Tests and ODIs over the last 2-3 years so one bad series is not the end of the world and they will bounce back.

Remember guys' date=' this is the same team that has been doing very well in both Tests and ODIs over the last 2-3 years so one bad series is not the end of the world and they will bounce back.[/quote'] how many good TEST teams are there in the world.... I agree some people over react for everything...the same people will create more hype if we draw this match....

Late Cut Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 One bad series and people are over reacting as if this team has been losing for years and years. Remember guys' date=' this is the same team that has been doing very well in both Tests and ODIs over the last 2-3 years so one bad series is not the end of the world and they will bounce back.[/quote'] No one's saying that. It pretty much resembles the 2006-7 ashes where England got their asses handed to them and the English "team" was no longer the same; this series appears to be such a turning point for indian test cricket, and getting beaten in such a manner can leave permenant psychological scars...someone should ask Vaughn, Fliintoff, Panesar, Hoggard, Harmison etc. about that.
saneindian Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 As if you cry everytime you are in a tough situation. It's good to see them laugh. Sad faces on the field would have piled on the agony.
Late Cut Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Cauz laughing's good for you; especially in tough situations. Might want to try it sometime.
Dravid Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 that over b4 tea by sachin.. he bowled full toss last ball..driven to cover by bresnan.. sehwag dived and took pace of the ball... after that you could see dhoni telling sehwag take is easy yaar :haha:
Vijay.Sharma Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 M2C, please put this in the Cricket Article section. It is beautifully written like your previous one. I think these belong in the cricket articles section than just as a thread. Mods/Admins can you please allow this to be moved into the articles? Folks, whadyathunk?
zep1706 Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 When Cook reaches 300 If this becomes true I deserve the $$$ :hatsoff:
yoda Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Good stuff. I still can't believe our performance this series. We have never failed so badly in every innings of every test of a series, especially when we have a pretty good team.
anotherhawkeye Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Good stuff. I still can't believe our performance this series. We have never failed so badly in every innings of every test of a series, especially when we have a pretty good team. England is in supreme form and we are in the worst possible form. But that doesn't fully explain our performance on the field. I have a hunch, no proof, that something else might be going on behind the scenes. May be there's some issue between new coach and the captain/players. Or may be, it's due to the way the Bell incident was handled. Before that, we were in the test matches, fighting. After that incident, it's clear that majority of the players have given up. If there is such a thing, we will find out when we come back from England. Don't be surprised if the coach is fired after this series.
Bumper Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I am glad he idolises Tendulkar. Could not reach double digits when every one else has been cow lashing this bowling. :-)
pinkfreud Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I reckon they'll go on to score around 720 thereabouts. :woot: :woot: getting closer and closer
