And whats with the 1 billion figure?

The only good thing cricket England did was try to buy players from other countries. And see, its paying off. Wasnt Cricket England offering Saqlain Mushtaq to represent England ? It is problem compounded by the fact that batting is failing on the same track where England makes it look easy. India's bowling relies on batting for help which is not happening. Your batsman are damn good . Your bowlers are decent, Swann is overrated. Indias batting is poor. Bottomline you are the better team and deserve no 1 ranking. No sour grapes here.

Andy Flowers pre-planning for Test series has taken preparations prior to tours to a new level. Remember during the Ashes he took a squad of 32 players not 15 (England and England Lions) a month before the 1st game, similarly playing home games during the County season provides match fit back-ups. Even at home, before playing India, England played the idle warm-up against SL, and upped their game vs India. His emphasis on fitness and fielding has surpassed the Aussie set-up under Waugh and Ponting. This tour has exposed India's lackluster approach to Test series over the last decade. And the call-up of RP Singh highlights this unfortunate state more than anything, considering the selectors could have thrown some one from the India emerging players team.

Any tricks or strategy should have done on last 2 test...now they just resigned to fate and waiting for batting... I still see draw as most likely result here
