Trichromatic Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 This is worst test bowling attack atm. Worst Indian test bowling line-up in last 10 years for sure.
amiret Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 in The 1999 series we lost 3-0 in Aus , we had Ajit Agarkar ,Srinath ,Prasad & Kumble. But i cannot recall a single series on such bowler-friendly conditions where our bowlers have been completely ineffectual for an ENTIRE series.
urbestfriend Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 This is the worst bowling attack of all test playing nation. I'd rather have B. Vettori, mpofu and Jharvis over these jokers
Bumper Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Making ordinary batsmen look like supermen. Gotta be the worst ever attack.

Even in that series India picked up 38 wickets in first 3 tests for some 1700 runs. Here Indian team has picked 41 wickets for some 2000 runs. Bowlers bowled lot better in 99 series against probably a better batting line-up.

Bowlers bowled lot better in 99 series. And that was an all time great Australian batting line-up. This is a good one but hardly in that class.
Trichromatic Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 And that was an all time great Australian batting line-up. This is a good one but hardly in that class. That's why I said this is worst bowling performance in last 10 years or so.
Yoda-esque Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Wobbly is conveniently opening up threads, starting fires and receding to the background :giggle:
amiret Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 I can understand we are not able to produce good Fast bowlers , but why are we not able to produce abundant quality spinners , let alone a single Match-Winning Spinner !
Asoka Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 This may well be the worst bowling attack in the history of cricket.
wobblydoggy Posted August 19, 2011 Author Posted August 19, 2011 Wobbly is conveniently opening up threads' date='starting fires and receding to the background :giggle:[/quote'] I am not, I am trying to answer any comments. It is those who told me england would get thrashed who are missing:giggle:
Kumar Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 I am not, I am trying to answer any comments. It is those who told me england would get thrashed who are missing:giggle: I don't think any Indian would actually Believe we have a chance of winning or in this situation (England getting thrashed). And for those who did, either want to start an argument with you for some reason, or want to despite things lost, think in the most positive way to bring some joy! [ Besides, by the Third test I'm sure you'd already gotten a few culprits who constantly troll your posts on ICF :winky:]
goose Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Yes it is. No experienced spearhead. No experienced spinner. No new kid on the block.

CrazyCric Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 This may well be the worst bowling attack in the history of cricket. I think we Sri Lankans will give you a good fight for the worst bowling attack award (in tests) these days.
