I'am pretty much spent now. But I need to you for this bit : even Tics hasn't done that :two_thumbs_up: I'm thinking of going this year as well but I'm worried about our fecking bowling. Watching a truly great player from the opposition score some runs is nice but I don't want to watch Phil Hughes scoring 300. :((

And If Kapil Dev isnt there I dont need to know the other 10.. 1) Passion for the game and the ability to keep you tuned in no matter how mundane the game is. His radio commentary is far superior to his television work. 2) I do. My mother has been the most important person in my life. My father used to travel a fair bit and wasn't always around when I was growing up. I guess she made up for his lack of presence. If I have a **** week, one phone call to her makes me feel better. She is my rock and the first person I talk to when I need advice or help. My wife () brought a great deal of stability in my life at a time when I really needed it. I guess I suffered from a bit of a midlife crisis and she helped me through it. To know that no matter how bad things are at work, you have a lovely wife and kids who will always be there for you is great. It also puts things in perspective and many of things that appeared really important 15 years back appear fairly trivial today. 3) My education without a shadow of doubt. I wouldn't be where I am today, either professionally or as a person, if it wasn't for it. 4) I did my schooling in India. My father had a fairly tough childhood and had to struggle a great deal in his early life. You'd struggle to even call them middle class. He got a good education, worked for a few years and then built up a very successful business. I was fortunate to have a very comfortable childhood. I was a very good student but absolutely hated school. I decided to move away for my undergrad. It was the best decision that I ever made. I didn't really have plans to work abroad and I'm not one of those people who'd sell their right arm for it. I managed to get a job in an investment bank (I still wonder how I managed it) after graduation and thought that it was too good an opportunity to let go. I worked for a few years in London, moved to New York for a while and then came back to London. 5) Not in my first 11 sadly. :(( Nice questions, btw!

Dravid or Tendulkar? 3) Whats the main reason you come to ICF? 4) Whos that old man in your picture, and do you look like him? 5) Are you old? 6) Apart from cricket what other sports u watch? 7) If you had to be born in the future which year would it be? 8) Are u a atheist? 1) If this is about the name 'Cricket Tragic', it has nothing to do with any tragedy. 2) There have been some truly great players over the years but only 3 M.O batsman stand out for me in the last 35 that I've followed cricket (Viv, Tendulkar and Lara). I didn't watch/follow enough of Chappell unfortunately. They would make the first or second 11 or pretty much everyone's all-time 11. 3) To get access to the videos to start with but I then realised that I didn't have too many people around to chat about Indian cricket and this was a good forum to do so. 4) Blofeld and no, I don't look like him. 5) Depends on what you classify as old. 6) I love Golf. It's my second favourite sport. I also like Tennis and Formula 1. I watch a bit of the EPL/Spanish League as well but I'm not a massive football fan. 7) The year T20 is banned. 8) Agnostic.

(don't know much about you, so just random queries). c) Life after death or life before death. d) If you were to become coach of Indian team, would you sweat it out in the field to lead by example or just sit and instruct them around. e) If you were a young cricket player in National team, what qualities do you expect to see in your leader & coach - that would make you give your best, or personal ambitions/landmarks are enough to motivate you giving your best. f) Your moniker, what does it say about you - if anything. I missed your questions! c) Before. d) I believe that the role of a coach is overstated in modern cricket. He has a role to play but it is the captain who runs the show. If I become was the coach, I'll focus on man management, planning and strategy. e) I wouldn't expect someone to motivate me on a faily basis when I'm playing for my country. Some of the qualities I'd look for: Leading from the front Should command the respect of the team Long-term vision Man management Tactically astute f) Massive fan of the game!

As a test cricket viewer ,which series according to you was better 2001 Ind vs Aus or the Ashes 2005 ?And why? Who acc. to you is the best young batting talent in India ATM? Which is the best test(country) and ODI(country) team you have seen since the time you started following/watching cricket? 1) Answered 2) Ashes 2005 by a reasonable distance because it had 4 great test matches that went down the end. 3) Not too many around but in terms of just talent, I'd pick Rohit Sharma. He work ethics suck though. 4) Tough call between WI and Australia. I'll pick WI because I grew up watching them. Not much in it though.
