Moman211 Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 What makes county cricket so special that pretty much every single great batsmen or bowler has played in it when out of form? Examples Tendulkar, Dravid, Ponting, Warne, Lara, V.Richards, Sobers,Lee, Kumble, Kallis, Laxman, Murali,Jayasuria ect... to list would be too long!:two_thumbs_up: Should more Indian players sing up for counties especially young ones such as Aaron who could use it as an opportunity to strength up and add more variety to their bowling.
Moman211 Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 If CC is poor than what is indian domestic circuit btw if its so poor why have all of those great players played in it? answer me that
Midfielder Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 If CC is poor than what is indian domestic circuit btw if its so poor why have all of those great players played in it? answer me that Previously that is where you could make money. Overall poor standard since they restricted foreign players.
rkt.india Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 In CC, they need to play a lot matches, and also some good quality players from other countries also used to play, and The Most Important Thing Is To Get The Chance to Play in English Seaming Conditions. Remember, a decade ago, in 80s, in 70s, most top players used to play in CC, all bets of the bowlers and batsmen used to play their the likes of Richards, Marshall, Holding, Roberts, Akram, Greenidge, some Australian players, but this is not the case now. That is why quality of CC has gone down a lot. Even England national players play CC very rarely.
