But before that, there is one thing I want you to note. Capitalize the M in Mariyam. I know, most of us don't speak English as a mother tongue, but mistakes of this kind just make me :mad: You might say that it doesn't make much of a difference, but it does. Let me give you an example thats right up your alley. BP helped his uncle Jack off a horse vs BP helped his uncle jack off a horse. The capitalization is not always trivial. First off, I'm not the one who is saying that the Tomatina is right. Its absolutely wrong from an ethical point of view. If few years down the line my children were to partake in something like this I would be totally :mad: But the wider point is: The people who buy those tomatoes have a right to use them as they so wish. As long as they are not a nuisance to others. And given an opportunity I will defend that right of theirs to use the tomatoes as they wish, even if what they do with the tomatoes is outright disgusting and callous. If you scroll to the first page of this thread, you can see what I had proposed about price slabs when you buy food items in bulk. I empathize with the poor hungry guy on the road who watches the Tomatina. I would never participate in it. But if some one doesn't empathize with that poor fellow, there is nothing you or me can do about it. Everyone is not as altruistic as you. Its because of this insensitive behaviour by our netas and rich people. My dad is running a construction company and he earns lot of money every month, but he has taught me high moral values and being sensitive to poor people .Sadly none of u guys sound like u have one.
