Is Dhoni over doing it?

This guy has great fitness. The grueling and tense World Cup, all the travelling and back to back games in IPL, West Indies tour and now the England tour. He doesnt seem to stop. Also Praveen Kumar is equally tough. He has been bowling 30+ overs in each innings from the 1st test in West Indies right up to the third test in England without a break in the middle because Indian batsmen barely batted a day and he is now set to play the one dayers too. :hatsoff:
At a grand speed of 115-120 kmph :giggle: Jokes apart, he does have excellent stamina :nice:

He's a human being' date=' he's not a machine. The board needs to give him a few series off.[/quote'] Shouldn't he himself be also asking for rest? Or - now that WC is over, may be groom some youngster to captain in ODIs.

Yes. He has played most number of matches in last 5 years. Over 400 days of cricket in last 5 years. Add 50 matches of IPL. Then Champions League. These are official matches in which pressure is on the players. Number of days of cricket would easily go over 500 if practice matches are counted. He has to keep all the time. Then batting and captaincy pressure. I don't know how is doing it. I feel that team management should use him wisely and stop him from playing when it's not necessary. When he is not playing, he generally spends time in Delhi, Mumbai etc working for those commercials and other contracts. I doubt that he has spent even 50 days in Ranchi in last 5 years.
