1983-2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 people were calling Jadeja a useless, the selectors useless for picking him before yesterday's ODI but now the same fans are praising him like there is no other match to come:hysterical: its also funny how some of the fans talks about indian pace bowlers without checking their home and away stats and also their recent form. people are also calling team india useless but how forgotten that we just won the world cup four months ago and we held the reign as test champions for 20 months, south africa only held it for 4 months and who knows how long england will stay as no.1 in test cricket. the real no.1 test team in the past decade has only been Australia:hatsoff:

Indians were the one who use to brag about as India being No.1 in cricket ,so fans are not wrong here

Not everyone watches the game robotically and in a calculating way just to say I TOLD YOU SO afterwards to other fans with opposing views. Every single sports team/person has over critical fans and fans who support through thick and thin and never criticize. One group is not better than the other, everyone has their place.

yadhav500 Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 This is so true. We have to support our team no matter what happens.
Mariyam Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 I don't know about other Indian fans, but I take a long time to change (or get ready) if I have to go for a party/function or somewhere with friends. However, if I have to go to get groceries or go to the laundry, I try and change in 4 mins.
CrazyCric Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Hero to Zero Zero to hero GOD -> DOG Indian fans need only one match result to change.
Stuge Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 How about the same for our team as well . World champions of Yesterday .. losers of Today :P
Sachin=GOD Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Most of the fans remember the performance of only the last series played and judge the players according to that. So if you asked an Indian fan about the team in April, every member of the team would be a "Legend" or "great" etc etc because the team won the WC but if you ask right now then some fans will even go on to say that we should change the entire team and drop all 11 players because we lost the England series.

Well put. And thats how it always is. You always remember a director by the last movie he makes. When someone says Subhash Ghai, Yuvraaj and Kisna come to you mind and you tend to dismiss him. You don't think of Ram Lakhan or Hero. A director is as good as his last movie, a cricketer as good as his performance in the last match. Thats how popular perception goes.
Dravid_TheWall Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 But can Jaddu bat quick which it what is required at no7? This is what Dhoni himself said a while back. Everyone knows he is a good fielder, bowls tight, but it seems he can only bat at one pace. And team India needs a good finisher at 7. If he can play big shots and consolidate then the spot is his. In the last innings he simply rebuilt with Dhoni. I will change my opinion of Jaddu when he comes in at 260-5 with 10 overs left and scores well in good time.

No space for him at 3 or 4 that is the issue. He could get into Pak team as they have crap batsmen like Malik, Hafiz e.t.c But we have big stars in this position who are match winners and batting low for them would be a waste imo. If he can play some big shots, no7 will be his for sure. Until then I still prefer YP at 7. I know Jaddu is a better bowler but if we selected our 4 best bowlers, part timers can fill the rest of the overs. YP is match winner but needs to learn to milk bowlers for singles.
