Rajiv Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Everyone likes Pace, all my friends had bikes and some were like Kawasaki Ninja, Honda CBR 1000 ( these were rare sights back in 90s ) and I had my share of "luck", once I tumbled down Pali Hill after my friend braked hard to save a construction worker. Except few aches, I survived and coincidentally that same friend crashed into kaccha rasta ( if anyone remembers the days wheen they were cementing all Mumbai roads ' 93/94 ), he was hospitalized and his bed was besides another parsi dude who was having a rod put in his leg for "bike" accident 2 good friends ( I was like 8 ), died in a bike accident together..when they removed the helmet for one of them, part of the skull came out too.
Sir john Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 few week ago i met with a accident.i fell away from my bike. one person come near me and said are you alive.i wake up and start driving my bike.In india there is so much craze for bikes as i had seen in my friends .

Holysmoke Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 i drive bike in NH8.not in streets.in india youth loves DriVing fast.those who live in india know this.people need to understand what i am talking. I've seen some crazy bike accidents, I've had blood and brains splat on my windshield when an idiot on a bike (without helmet) banged into another car and hit his head on the divider. They were racing on the highway. I've seen people skid off their bike and scrape their whole bodies, and this is while offroading. I almost ran over one of them with my ATB. If you want to drive fast, you need to do so in a controlled environment. Even then, it doesnt give you the license to be rash unless you are the only person on the track. It might sound harsh, but i agree with akshayxyz. Natural selection.
Sachin=GOD Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I have always hated bikes. I'd prefer a car over a bike anyday.
Desi Cartman Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 A cousin of mine lost hearing in his one ear cuz some kids were racing on the street in front of his house and hit him in the head. My cousin was around 8 yrs old back then and it was around the time dhoom was released so a lot of kids were racing.
ganeshran Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 SJ dont be stupid, if you are passionate about racing then join a club which has a track to race and proper safety measures. Driving fast on an open national highway isnt any sort of bravery, its foolishness.

If I have sufficient money (and motivation), I would create a gaming zone for such thrilling experience - something like wind-tunnel (with fast enough conveyor belt) for 'physical' part of the feel and panoramic wide-screen display (or head mounted device) for the 3D-esque visual feel... I am sure some Japanese might already be working on some such shyte - or even already have it almost there. Or - we can wait until real-world-Matrix (see the paradox :)) ).
Blue Panther Posted September 12, 2011 Author Posted September 12, 2011 Everyone wants to drive fast, even i was stupid enuf to do that when i was in my college. Now i am matured enuf to avoid all these adrenaline pumping stunts.

akshayxyz Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 It's there. is it open for public recreational activities?
Holysmoke Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 is it open for public recreational activities? Lol, not really.. it costs a bomb. But you dont really need to go at 300 kmph to get the adrenaline rush. You'd know that if you've ever gone karting. BTW, see this. I was talking about public domain stuff, pay and use gaming zone sort of.. Besides, that is just F1 simulator - no wind-tunnel kinda stuff there.

There isnt something like this in a public domain, for good reason. It costs a bomb. If you have to charge people 10k/hr minimum, is it going to be feasable? In the public domain, either there are games/game centers.. or then there is karting.
