kubrickian Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 England, South Africa and Australia also have T20 tournaments and they usually run throughout the year rather than just 1 or 2 months like IPL. So their cricket should get affected too, right ? The opposition to IPL is just coming from folks who are just jealous that young players are earning too much money too quickly and people in Western countries are worried about BCCI making too much revenue and having too much clout in ICC. That's all there is to it. IPL was there when India won the World Cup and climbed to No.2 in ODI rankings and No.1 in test rankings. What do you make of that ?
