Blue Panther Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Just dont watch this useless tourney. Too much of nonsense in this money making circus. I feel like kicking sharukh's ass when he promotes this tournament on tv. Ipl and these tourneys have runined our players. Just ignore this circus. Shall we?:hitler:
WC2011INDIA Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 IPL and CL20 rocks :two_thumbs_up::yay:
ganeshran Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 If you dont want to, then dont watch it.
Blue Panther Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 If you dont want to' date=' then dont watch it.[/quote'] I know that. Aren't we the same people who blamed ipl and cl t 20 for india's dismal tour?
darkknight Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I might pop in occasionally to know who is doing what. No intrest to follow it through out. Not interested in Eng ODI in Oct as well. Will be back for Auz tour in Dec, to watch Dhoni's redemption.
ganeshran Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I know that. Aren't we the same people who blamed ipl and cl t 20 for india's dismal tour? I didnt blame it. If Players get a chance to make more money legally, then its natural they give more weightage to it. Its not like they are fixing matches. BCCI needs to include the number of matches played in IPL and CL for a player while scheduling the calendar. Each player should have a maximum number of matches he /she can play in a year so injuries can be avoided. IPL and CL have simply become fall guys to avoid looking at the underlying reason for our defeat - poor bowlers and poor bowling prospects. Our bowling has never been great, but great batting helped mask that fact. This time around when the batting failed, the weaknesses were exposed. OF course, such reasons are boring to blame and to generate lengthy discussions. Its always easier to blame IPL/CL/Selection bias etc.

Our batting fell apart due to IPL / CL and our bowlers got injured for the same reason and if you still dont see any coorelation then you need to take your blinkers off...

Yup Bowlers got injured because of IPL , lets ignore the fact that Zaheer had a full 6 weeks rest after the IPL, and all our other bowlers were fit, atleast to play if not in shape. Batting fell apart due to IPL. thats preposterous. The only injury that can be blamed on the IPL can be Sehwag, but even he played in the last 2 matches. Gambhir missed the Windies series and was fit for the English series. Other senior players didnt click in English conditions with the exception of Dravid.
Sidhoni Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Dude, u weren't here fr any of the IPL's. otherwise, you'll know how most of the ppl who blame IPL for fitness and form related issues, are crazy over the IPL, and indulge in all kinds of discussions
Hell Raiser Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Don't have much interest in IPL and Cl 20 anyways. Just watch the scores sometimes.

yoda Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I may watch more of this than I did of the Eng series. :giggle:
Sachin=GOD Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 There are some series'/tournaments where you would pay any amount to watch the matches but with this CL its kind of opposite - I wouldn't watch it even if someone paid me to do so :hahaha:
vishalvirsingh Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Yes dead tracks declare fast brett lee to be more ineffective than Rajat bhatia.... Lee being hit for 22 runs in 2 overs and bhatis for 7 runs in 2 overs its crazy..... That's why fast bowlers bcom trundlers...dead tracks... We need green tracks pls
