Re: Anyone scared? Bheems, i understand u have been scarred by some incidents in the past... but to get 400 runs in the 4th innings for a win has been achieved only by 4 teams in the past.... and SA simply doesnt have anywere near tht quality.... first thing tomorrow, they will croak... remember, tht 160/5 could easily have been 155/7... instead it will 220/7.. tht jus means, they are in a free fall and jus clinging here and there, but nothing great to stop the fall...

Re: Anyone scared? Let's not get carried away. Cast your mind back to this test India played at Port Elizabeth back in '01. Boucher lashed out at the Indian bowlers in the first innings, and Pollock did the same in the 2nd. Although i am convinced that India will win, these two - along with Prince - are more than capable of whittling down that total. If India knocks over the 5 remaining batsmen for nothing, then it will be a massive defeat for SA and the Indian bowlers will be to maintain their psychological edge over their counterparts. On the other hand, if their batsmen start to think; "f*ck it" and begin to slog at every delivery, the Indian bowlers will look mortal and their thrashing - as small a victory as it maybe - will go some way in lifting the morale of those top order batsmen like Gibbs and Smith - players who are currently down in the dumps because they knew they failed. The Indian bowlers will become ruffled and won't be as confident when going into the next test. It's not always the victory, but rather it's the manner in which the victory is achieved which counts. The psychological edge is what enables a team to dominate for long enough to win a SERIES. This is what Australia does...in the same position, they will go all out to destroy the opposition as quickly as possible - stamping their authority all over them in the process. India will win, but they need to win convincingly to compound South Africa's misery.

Re: Anyone scared? True, but in our case..victory is very important and thats how they gain confidence. Once we start winning a lot, then the domination part comes to play. We are good, but not that good I forsee 1 wicket down in the 1st session and then by tea..it will be over
