I am actaully in 2 minds on which model to get. I wanted to get the 80 GB video ipod till last week so that i would store all my TV shows that i never find time to watch and cricket videos in 1 place. But now the ipod touch looks good but its only 16GB which would mean that i would have to cycle my videos. But the touch screen and the video capabilities looks better.

the touch screen really is amazing. I dont know if the touch has a acceleratometer or whatever which tilts the screen depending on how you are holding the ipod.. the iphone has it, and its really amazing. its a touch choice.. with the touch having a browser and wifi capabilities. Thank God I dont have to choose :D

data is always synced with ur computer. Even now, if i get a new iphone and sync it with my computer, all my contacts, songs, etc come on it. For sending stuff to apple, who cares, just format it anyways. Even if the songs are not drm, theres nothing apple can do about it. but u can always restore to factory settings before u send it.. so thats not really an issue....

data is backed up every time u charge/sync the phone.... as for contacts, u can transfer them on sim. obv ur temp phone isnt gonna be an iphone, so why the need for music/etc actually u can get a backup iphone for a fee or somethign

five reasons iphone sucks 1. 2-megapixel camera when others have 5-megapixel shooters on board 2. 5-hour talk time: not enough battery life 3. No expansion slot. Go for the 8-gig model and that's it. 4. No 3G: EDGE is so last year 5. No removable battery: You mean we can't take along a spare battery? WTF?

In a similar fashion you can also write 10 reasons to pick an iphone over any other phone. For MOST people, the only REAL drawback is the non-removable battery.

1. 2 mp camera is good enough.. it has a good lens.. its not all about the MP's 2. U are saying batter life is bad?:hysterical:. Dude, the battery life on this is insane!! I mean.. you need to charge it once in 2-3 days. you read engadget?,.. this is what they said abt battery life.
Playing relatively high bitrate VGA H.264 videos, our iPhone lasted almost exactly 9 freaking hours of continuous playback with cell and WiFi on (but Bluetooth off). Yeah, we had to pick our jaws up off the floor, too. So by our tests, you could watch a two hour movie and drain off a little more than 22% of the battery -- totally acceptable for trip-taking and the like. Our music testing showed similarly outstanding results. Playing back 160-192Kbps MP3s, our iPhone pushed about 29 hours and 30 minutes music playback. To put that in perspective, the Apple claims the iPod nano gets about 24 hours playback on a full charge, and the iPod a scant 14 - 20 hours. To do a little simple math, you could watch two hours of video, listen to 8 straight hours of music, and still have only drained off less than half your device's capacity -- that is, if your iPhone's battery works as well as ours. (Read: your battery life may differ.) Still, if that's a good estimate of what users can expect from their device's power drain, you should have little issue making the iPhone your music and video player, in addition to your cellphone.
3. no expansion slot?:haha::hysterical: Which other phone gives you 8 gigs? 4. No 3g. yes, thats there, but do u really use 3g? I never used 3g.. edge is pretty fast(20KBps download speed) 5. no removable battery.. well, the battery is actually really good.but yea.. u cannot replace it! That would be the only, only only drawback... and that is not as big as people make it to be.. because the battery life is really amazing.
