achilles Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Setback? They actually believed that Arthur would sign up? This is delusional beyond belief :hysterical: And Dean and Dermott not in the race too. This is hilarious. :hysterical:
ganeshran Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Dean Jones and Dermot Reeve both stated in the application that they plan to work from home. how did I miss this gem :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Cricket Tragic Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Padosis wanted Kirsten or Flower a few months back.
Hur Rizvi Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I dont think Mohsin khan is doing a bad job. Only if we can give him a bowling coach in Aaqib javed and fielding coach in Ijaz Ahmed i dont think we need to waste money onforeign coaches...
Manny_Pacquiao Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 i dont think we need to waste money onforeign coaches... do u even have money to waste on phoren coaches? would a phoren coach even come within 5 feet of your cricket team? these are the important questions you need to ask yourself, bruv.
Sarkar Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Padosis wanted Kirsten or Flower a few months back. BS Bedi wud make a good coach for PCB.

Thats the point we dont have much money i dont think we should waste any money on foreign coaches... I am not in favour of foreign coaches at all !!!
Hur Rizvi Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 We can have Aaqib javed has bowling coach who has been working at NCA for 10 years at least.... Ijaz Ahmed as fielding coach... Mohsin hasan khan or Ali Zia as batting coach and head coach.... Rawalpindi's coach Sabih Azhar is also a very good option for head coach spot

Hur Rizvi Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 :hehe: izaz as fielding coach :hehe: Ijaz was a very good fielder... MAy be you haven't seen cricket in 90s. He was probably our best fielder in 90s. He used to field at point and i dont remember him droppeng many catches
Number Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 :hehe: izaz as fielding coach :hehe: Ijaz was a good fielder in his time.

He used to field at point and i dont remember him droppeng many catches i was not talking about his catch taking ability .... RD has the highest number of catches in tests , doesnt mean he wl become IND's fielding coach after retiremant I did see cricket in 90's not too much PAK cricket unless they played IND though... but i dont remember him diving and making any superb or memorable stops or some superb diving catches.... having a good anticipation is different thing cause one cant teach people to anticipate... its natural to a player... one can teach the technique to the fielders...

I dont see why Dravid cant be a very good coach in future if he chooses that as profession after retiring... Ijaz has been coaching for quite some time he has been attached with NCA since 2007 so why he cant be our fielding coach... he has been travelling with A-teams and U-19 teams as well...

ganeshran Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Wasnt Ijaz named in the Qayyum report. He was also the brother in law of another fixer - Salim Malik. IMO such individuals should not be allowed in the cricket setup

ganeshran Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 He has never been convicted of anything so i guess he is alright... being brother in law of salim malik is no crime... Neither was Akram. The fall guys were Ata-Ur-Rehman (expendable) and Salim Malik (past his prime). Ata ur Rehman and Rashid Latif named Ijaz as a fixer in the Qayyum report. Its another thing that there was no action taken on the basis of that report
